22nd April. I 'm sorry to all readers (assuming there are any!) for my long silence on the blog - Preparations leading to Holy Week and Easter overwhelmed me. We had splendid celebrations for Palm Sunday and then for Easter at Venice on Easter Day, at Padova the following Sunday (30th March) and at Trieste only last Sunday, 20th April. All told, over 220 people attended; Venice became host to an extra 40 lovely people on tour from the US, as well as our usual 100+.

After a week's refreshing holiday we're all ready for more...St. George's day tomorrow will be fun - Morning Prayer, Dragon Hunting (see the link) AND we've arranged a visit , courtesy of Venice's new Auxiliary Bishop Beniamino, to the never-opened church of Spirito Santo nearby, to see the C16th Original of our Altar-piece painting by Buonconsiglio. And while you're looking up Events, note next Sunday, 27th, will be our AGM (for Members) and then the Concert in Church at 6.00pm. given by our friends in Musica Venezia.
